Galeria incluziunii – manifest al accesului echitabil la educație

Galeriei incluziunii este o transpunere în imagini a dificultăților cu care se confruntă persoanele cu dizabilități în mediul academic, realizată de 25 de artiști de toate vârstele, din toată țara. Aceste ilustrații marchează startul campaniei de conștientizare inițiată în cadrul proiectului de solidaritate ,Educație pentru toți”, care își propune să lupte pentru accesul echitabil la educație, făcând apel la empatia și implicarea celor din jur în ceea ce privește gravitatea problemelor întâmpinate de studenții cu dizabilități.

Campania se va desfășura în mediul online, pe paginile de Facebook și Instagram ale proiectului, și va include provocări și interviuri cu o parte din autorii ilustrațiilor, cu persoane cu dizabilități care și-au depășit condiția și au arătat că se poate, în ciuda obstacolelor, dar și cu diverse persoane influențe din mediul educațional sau de la nivelul decidenților locali care au dorința și puterea de a schimba lucrurile în bine.

Scopul proiectului este de a găsi soluții, împreună cu comunitatea academică, la problemele identificate pe parcursul consultărilor publice desfășurate anterior în mediul online, la care au participat studenți de la mai multe universități din țară. În urma acestor consultări, a reieșit nevoia de a înființa o structură care să se preocupe exclusiv de integrarea persoanelor cu dizabilități în comunitatea academică a Universității Politehnica din Timișoara, atât la nivel fizic, cât și social. Structura propusă în cadrul proiectului este un Birou pentru Persoane cu Dizabilități care să funcționeze în baza unei metodologii clare și a unui Regulament de Organizare și Funcționare, pe care le vom înainta conducerii UPT.
